Class is sold out. Can I join the waitlist?
Registration for class is done on a first-come first-served basis. We do not have a waitlist for classes. You can join our mailing list to find out when new classes are posted. Additionally, you can enter your email on the class page to be notified when the class comes back in stock. See picture below for reference.
What happens if I can’t make a class?
The important classes not to miss are the first and last sessions. During the first class, you will get to know the studio and how to get started. During the last class, you will glaze the pieces created. If you need to miss a class, you can sit in on another class if a wheel is available. If not, you can make up the class with three additional practice hours.
When is registration posted for the next cycle?
Registration is usually posted 3-4 weeks before class begins. The following is a tentative class schedule for the first half of 2026:
INTRO/INTERMEDIATE CLASSES:
Cycle 1 January 5th - February 9th
Cycle 2 February 16th - March 23rd (registration posted 1/18/26)
Cycle 3 March 30th - May 4th (registration posted 3/1/26)
Cycle 4 May 11th - June 22nd (registration posted 4/12/26)
I signed up for class. now what?
After registering for class, you will receive a confirmation email. Don’t worry if your order status is listed as “Pending”; you are registered. The weekend before class begins you will receive a welcome email with everything you need to know about class. If you don’t receive the confirmation or welcome email, check your SPAM folder.
do we offer a work exchange for class?
Yes! When available, students are able to take a FREE class at the studio in exchange for 3 hours a week as a Studio Assistant for the duration of class. If taking a ceramic class, unlimited practice time will be included. Firing fees are additional. Learn more about the Studio Assistant role.
