AlterWork Studios was founded by Tina Stipanovic as an open access art and community center. Our mission is to be a major resource for contemporary artists, helping them create new work and advance their careers by offering them access to affordable workspace, tools, classes, workshops and public exposure. 

Tina Stipanovic is an artist with an MFA from Parsons School of Design in NYC. Her best performance and installation art include the art communities she fostered first as the owner of RaR Bar, a bar, eatery and DIY performative art space, and now in AlterWork Studios, where her concentration shifted to predominantly visual arts. She has done numerous exhibitions and festivals as an independent curator, shown her work in group shows across the globe, and had the honor of exhibiting her work at the 2024 Venice Biennale Croatian Pavilion as part of “By the Means at Hand” project by Vlatka Horvat.
