Materials and Resources: AlterWork Studios offers its members access to a multitude of donated materials and resources that varies and may include:

The neighborhood

AlterWork Studios is located in Long Island City's growing art community sharing the neighborhood with Kaufman Arts District, Flux Factory, Museum of the Moving Image, Fisher Landau, Socrates Sculpture Park, Isamu Noguchi Museum, Kaufman Astoria Studios, MoMA PS1, Chocolate Factory Theater, transportation and a vibrant community of shops, bars and restaurants.
