During this three-hour workshop, participants will explore three surface decoration techniques: underglazing, water etching, and carving, as well as how to combine the techniques to create unique, layered designs. Participants will learn best practices and helpful tips, along with how to take a design from sketchbook to pottery.

AlterWork Studios will provide all tools and materials for the workshop. Participants will work on clay slabs. If the participant would like to fire their slab, they can do so for a $5 firing fee.
