Bring your favorite pair of jeans (the ones you love, the ones that are worn out, or the ones waiting for a second chance) and spend a fun, social afternoon repairing, reinforcing, and beautifying them. This workshop is all about giving new life to your old denim through practical and creative techniques.
You'll learn how to:
mend worn areas
reinforce weak spots
apply patches, add decorative details
and use simple stitches and embroidery to transform damage into design.
If you have personal items you'd like to incorporate small fabrics, trims, buttons, or meaningful pieces feel free to bring them and make your jeans even more unique.
Tea will be available, and participants are welcome to bring snacks to enjoy during the class. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly: stitching, sipping, snacking, chatting, and creating together.
You will leave with a revitalized denim piece repaired, reinforced, and beautifully embellished, ready for many more years of wear.
The studio will provide:
Denim scraps and patch materials
Threads and embroidery floss
Needles, scissors, and sewing notions
Sewing machines
